prospects in engineering management
As Germany is famous for its high quality in the field of engineering, German master’s degrees in engineering management are well-respected worldwide. Engineering managers understand technical problems at a high level and can solve them with business expertise. They are therefore sought-after experts at the interface between technology and management. After your studies you face excellent career prospects. Wherever there is a need for comprehensive and interdisciplinary knowledge in technology and management, you are in demand.
Internships and professional experience in general, are becoming more and more important and are almost taken for granted by many HR officials. In opposition to this, many newly created bachelor and master courses make it difficult for students to integrate an internship into their studies without „loosing” a semester. Therefore, internships form an integral part of the academic study program at the IUBH School of Business and Management.
The internship is designed to enable students to gain insight into operations and management in their industry. It gives students the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge, and gain practical experience and soft skills within a relatively limited period of time. For all bachelor study program, students must complete one internship of at least 22 weeks.
